Massage Therapy Results in Decrease of Cancer-Related Fatigue

The results from an early-phase, randomized trial out of Atlanta are promising for cancer survivors suffering from Cancer Related Fatigue (CRF).  CRF is a debilitating, yet common condition resulting from cancer and it's treatments, yet there has been little proven to be effective for countering it's symptoms. Until now.

A study conducted by Emory University, in partnership with Winship Cancer Institute and Atlanta School of Massage was able to show clinically significant improvement of CRF symptoms for participants who received once-weekly massage sessions over the course of a 6 week study.
