School of Massage and Bodywork
Our Philosophy

At KCHA, we care about our students.

We care that they get the best education in the region. We care that they learn the science of massage, but also the art of working with the body. We care that they come out of our program with the business and personal skills to make a career of massage for as long as they have a passion to do so.

This is so much more than just a trade school. The depth of our program is important to our students, because a trade school training just doesn't cut it in today's massage world.

All of our instructors are skilled massage therapists who are currently practicing massage. That means that you won't just get philosophical and scientific book learning, but you'll also be hearing from men and women who live what they're teaching. KCHA instructors are constantly weaving experiences from the therapy room into their lessons, from a situation encountered just days or weeks before, to wisdom developed over many years.

The 600-hour program at KCHA is licensed by the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Growth. Upon graduation, our students are fully trained massage therapists, ready to start building their professional practices.

All of our classes are presented in the context of hard science and holistic health, which serves our graduates well as they build a client base and develop areas of expertise. Because the best way to learn about the body is to actually work with the body, our program is hands on from day one. We also thoroughly train our students in a wide variety of sound business practices, so they're not lost in the professional world once they leave the walls of KCHA.

It's no wonder that employers around the region and the Midwest seek out our graduates. They're among the best massage therapists in the nation.

We invite you to visit our school and learn more about the unique and life-changing experience here. Call us any time or send e-mail to admissions@kcha.com—we can't wait to meet you!

The mission of the School of Massage and Bodywork at KCHA is to educate students by awakening their natural learning process in a safe, fun and supportive environment so that they may become creative, successful and effective bodyworkers for the highest good of all concerned.
