The best way to get to know us is in person. KCHA offers a hands-on program, after all, and it's important for prospective students to really feel what goes on here. As an alternative, you can also attend one of the Massage as a Profession workshops that we offer twice each month. These sessions are a great opportunity to sit with us and talk about the rewards and realities of our industry. It's worth the time just to tour our gorgeous facility—the space itself is a calming and healing force.

Spa Services Certification Now Offered at KCHA

Certified massage therapists can now receive spa services training by attending classes at KCHA. This 100-hour training program lasts approximately 10 weeks. Instruction includes spa techniques of salt and sugar scrubs, body wraps, dry room techniques, hydrotherapy, fango and hot stone massage. To enter KCHA's Spa Services Training, applicants must have completed 500 hours or more from a certified massage therapy school, such as KCHA, or in conjunction with successfully completing two-thirds of massage therapy training at KCHA.

Sundays (9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.)

Senior Career Exploration

High school seniors and their families are invited to Kalamazoo Center for the Healing Arts to discover more about a career in massage therapy. This event features a tour and informational discussions with instructors and current KCHA students.
