Alternate routes to avoid road construction

9th Street between Stadium Drive and KL Avenue will be under heavy construction beginning in February 2008 and continuing into the summer. Where appropriate, please note our "construction alternate routes" below.

Take 131 South to Exit 38B (M43/West Main), turn right on West Main Street
 At the second light, 9th Street, turn left
 At the second light, KL Avenue, turn left
 KCHA is the first drive on the left

From the EAST:

Take M43 (West Main Street) to 9th Street, turn left
 At the second light, KL Avenue, turn left
 KCHA is the first drive on the left

Construction Alternate Route

  1. Take Stadium Drive to 11th Street, turn right
  2. At the second stop sign, KL Avenue, turn left
  3. KCHA is on your right, just before 9th Street

OR

Take Stadium Drive to 9th Street, turn right
 At the first light, KL Avenue, turn right
 KCHA is the first drive on the left

From the WEST:

Take M43 (West Main Street) to 9th Street, turn right
 At the first light, KL Avenue, turn left
 KCHA is the first drive on the left

OR

Take Stadium Drive to 9th Street, turn left
 At the first light, KL Avenue, turn right
 KCHA is the first drive on the left

Construction Alternate Route

  1. Take Stadium Drive to 11th Street, turn left
  2. At the second stop sign, KL Avenue, turn left
  3. KCHA is on your right, just before 9th Street

 

From I-94:

Take I-94 to the 9th Street exit
Take 9th Street north to KL Avenue (4th light past the I-94 ramps)
Turn right on to KL Avenue, KCHA is the first drive on the left

Construction Alternate Route

  1. Take I-94 to the 9th Street exit
  2. Take 9th Street north to Stadium Drive, turn right
  3. Take Stadium Drive to the second stoplight, 11th Street, turn left
  4. At the second stop sign, KL Avenue, turn left
  5. KCHA is on your right, just before 9th Street
