Staying healthy and getting healthier are never-ending quests! There's always more to learn on your journey to full, holistic health, and Institute for Massage Education at KCHA offers a variety of continuing education classes to help along the way.

We're always happy to talk with you about classes that catch your eye. And if there's something you'd like to see us offer that's not listed here, just let us know! With a minimum number of participants, private classes can also be arranged for any group.

Healing Touch Intro Class

Healing Touch is an international, multi-level education program in energy based medicine therapy. Each level in the Healing Touch Program includes didactic and experimental learning in which participants practice and share experiences using energy-based healing techniques. The participants will learn how to 1) Describe the human energy system relationship to physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health. 2) Discuss energy principles basic to Healing Touch. 3) Assess the energy field and energy centers. 4) Identify a basic Healing Touch sequence. 5) Demonstrate specific intervention techniques used in Healing Touch. 6) Discuss applications of Healing Touch in personal and professional practice.

Cost: $20.00 (can be applied toward Level 1 Course)

Targeted Movement for Massage Therapists

Practical movement links neuromuscular re-education and stretching approaches by targeting neuromuscular re-education to specific muscles, thereby retraining them and restoring proper posture and movement patterns. This seminar introduces you to the entire Practical Movement curriculum and covers the key movements that will address the most common issues that you encounter in your practice. Introduction to Bowenwork

Bowenwork in a complementary hands-on health care approach that profoundly enhances both physical and mental health and well-being. This gentle and effective holistic therapy naturally restores the body to balance.
